Artist illustrations can incorporate a emotional connection to what one sees or hears. Think of a song that you have an emotional connection to and sketch two different ways you could illustrate the song. You may include a phase from the song if it works well with the design but it must be in a creative way and a font type.

Make an artist, art movement or art period page in your sketchbook
that we cover in class. Arrange the page in an artistic way with drawings and relevant information about each of the above.This assignment for illustration is your choice of artist but must be a famous illustrator. Explain inspires you about this artist work and a bio plus Include important dates, current events, and unique information about him/her as an artist. Explain the art movement that influenced their work.
Information that should be present on all pages:
1. List titles, media and sizes on three works of art
2. Date of birth/death
3. Explain the job, art movement/art period
4. List at least four current events
5. Who inspired the artist to create or taught the artist
6. Recreate several of the artist famous works of art
BE CREATIVE the more creative the better
CREATIVE CHALLENGE
Creative CHALLENGE will be in a 3x5 area in your sketchbook, more than one per page is fine. CREATE A SMALL WORK OF ART EVERY DAY Your choice of medium CAN BE MIXED MEDIA

Checked monthly last Friday of the month (one per day)
